FASTag – What Is Fastag & How To Get Fastag for vehicles
What Is FASTag :- FASTag is a toll-taking technique. Electronic toll collection system has been brought by the National Highways Authority of India to solve the problems caused by the toll collection system. It uses radio frequency identification (RFID). It was launched in 2014. It is being gradually planted all over India.
How FASTag Works :- This tag is placed on the windscreen of the vehicle. As soon as your vehicle comes near the toll plaza, it tracks the fastag on the wind dot of your vehicle by putting it on the toll plaza. After this, the fee levied on that toll plaza is deducted from your FastTag account. This way you are able to pay the fee without stopping at the toll plaza. This tag in the vehicle activates your prepaid account and only starts its work. At the same time, when your Fastag account amount is exhausted, you will have to recharge it again.
