Chaman Bahaar | Weekend Movie Plan
Chaman Bahaar Movie Reviews : India – our beloved country. World’s favorite nation – we are undoubtedly known for a lot of things like smartness, commonly known as jugaad, democracy, population, sex ration, youth, and many more. However, this is the bigger picture. When we come inside, there’s a lot more than these.
We have a massive gap in the sex ratio, which means in our country, there are 176 males per 100 females – you see we are extremely deficient in terms of the women population. Need more girl children!
So, now you might understand – the next time you see a horde of desperate boys outside a girls’ college – this is one of the reasons; of course, there are more, but it is one of them for sure.
Wait! When you step into a small town – this magnitude of male desperateness is on the next level. And this is what Chaman Bahaar is all about.
Chaman Bahaar Movie Reviews | Cast | Crew : Directed by Apurva Dhar Badgaiyann, Chaman Bahaar is a pure-Indian-thing kind of a movie with that sheer richness of desiness in it. However, this is the first aspect – another aspect includes recklessness or chichorpanti too, that does happen in India with almost every girl.
And, the movie is showing that thing openly, and the concern is not in an objectionable manner. It is a part of it without picturing the consequences or moral values at the end. And, this is not the right thing; the same is concerning more than half of the critics and audience.
Overall, the performances, realness, and that feel are brilliant; that’s the only negative part, and especially when you are doing this with a teenage school girl – it makes it worse. The makers must have thought about it. It will surely affect the movie’s accomplishment.
Storyline walks through the protagonist played by Jitendra Kumar, who goes on to become a paan seller by setting up a stall on an idle road. Opposing his father, he finds his shop is as lonely as his life. But the passage soon takes a turn and opposite to his shop in a vacant house a family makes its entry.
There’s a teenage school-going girl in the family, and the town has never witnessed a girl like her before who rides a scooter, wears shorts, etc. And so, the desperate males of the town go gaga over her. That leads to form the waiting point on the paan shop, and the sales go rocketing.
But another twist comes when the shopkeeper, the hero, too falls in love with her and sooner becomes obsessed.
And, the story goes on to the end – now, we are not revealing or spoiling the entire story, in case you are planning to watch Chaman Bahaar.
